Using AI on Embroidery or PVC doesn’t mesh well. Maybe you could ask the AI to make this into an embroidery or PVC patch. But simply trying to convert a picture onto one of these two doesn’t work. I will have an example below.
- Embroidered Patch:
- Sitched thread. Small details are lost in the stitching process. This is the most common style of patches people wear.
- PVC Patch (Rubber) 3D Molded.
- UV Printed Patches: High-detail printed patches. AI photos would work best here.
- Woven Patch: Google says “user thinner threads than embroidery. Flatter, smoother look, better for small text and fine detail. I have never done a Woven patch. I recommend googling these patches to see if they meet your needs.
Backing style
- No backing
- Flimsy
- Plastic backing
- makes it sturdy, but still flexible, and it doesn’t roll up on itself. I recommend this at minimum
- Velcro
- Hook, loop side of velcro, or both
- There may be more types. Just ask, and I’m sure they’ll do it
- I don’t believe there is a minimum order amount, but the price skyrockets the less you get. The prices below are my estimates. Never hurts for me to ask for a solid number. The company’s quotes are valid for only 30 days. All prices below are the “Out the door price” per patch. I.e $3 a patch for 50 = $150 total payment. Many factors determine price. Amount of colors used, size, backing style, etc. There is not a huge price jump for adding the aforementioned. talking .10, .20,.30 cents per patch IF THAT.
